“Glorious!” has become one of the most widely produced new comedies in the world.  It has been presented in over twenty countries and enjoyed hit runs in London´s West End, Toronto, Montreal, Dallas, Chicago, Vancouver, Helsinki, Prague, Warsaw, Sydney, Auckland and Frankfurt .  In the coming year, it will open in Italy, Spain, Norway, South Africa, Croatia and Brazil, while playing further cities in Germany, Canada and the USA.

“GLORIOUS!” is the hilarious true story of, FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS, the worst singer in the world.  In New York in 1940´s, this robust eccentric woman used her vast wealth to present concerts and recitals.  Though convinced she was a great diva, her voice was in fact so terrible that thousands of people came to see her perform.  Cole Porter was one of her biggest fans and could be heard during her concerts yelling
“I can´t stand it, I can´t stand it!”

The play follows Florence in the final year of her life, seen through the eyes of her young pianist Cosme McMoon and her adoring friends Dorothy and St Clair and their aggressive maid Maria.  A comedy for 6 actors and a piano. Length: 110 mins.

“Glorious!” ran for over 200 performances in London and was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award as Best New Comedy.
